How to Reach Jhandi

Nearest Railway station is New Mal Jn (NMZ), Jhandi can be reach from Siliguri and as well as from New Jalpaiguri Railway (NJP). The Kanchankanya Express directly connects New Mal (Malbazar) with Kolkata, daily train service also available from NJP to NMZ.

          Nearest airport is Bagdogra, direct car available from airport to Jhandi, through Malbazar, Gorubathan. Jhandi also can be reached from Kalimpong via Labha or Lava towards Gorubathan, distance from Lava only 10 kms. 

Best Season to Visit Jhandi

Jhandi can be visited throughout the year, in winter there will be chill, so carry extra woolen clothes. March to May and October to late November weather is pleasant and view of Mt. Kanchenjunga is superb. The entire valley decorated with lush green tea plantation on post monsoon or after rainy season.
