village only for people who loves true nature and nomadic life. 20th Mile
village located very nearby of ‘Sillery Ggaon‘,
which is well-known tourist destination among tourist.
You
can visit 20th Mile from Kalimpong in a day trip, also visit this village
and stay here when you are at Sillerigaon. The entire village is a part of
Eco-Tourism, pollution free clean village and village huts are made with
Mud and clay.

Village Homestay
is only mode of accommodation in 20th Mile (Near Kalimpong &
Sillery Gaon). Our associate homestay provides comfort and secure accommodation
at 20th mile. It's typical village Homestay made with Mud and clay. You
will get plenty of open area and planted trees, ornamental plants. You will
enjoy the silent no noise pollution only birds chirping. We have 2 large double
and a triple bedded room, no hot shower but hot water will be provided in a
bucket. You can experience Hermit Lifestyle (self-cook in a kitchen with fire wood,
pick fresh vegetable from the garden, collect dry woods from the forest and all)
student can also do expedition on village lifestyle).
We also provide tent/camp for large
group and adventures tourists, total 5 people can be accommodating in two

How to Reach
20th Mile
Nearest
airport is Bagdogra (IXB) and nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP).
Direct taxi and cars are available from NJP, Bagdogra and Siliguri to 20th
Mile. An exclusive car will cost around Rs.2500 to Rs.3500, depending on car
type and season. Entire scenic route from NJP/Siliguri to 20th Mile,
goes through Sevoke, Kalijhora and Kalimpong, it may take around 3 hrs. to 3 ½
hrs. to reach.
You also can avail shared
transportation to 20th Mile from Siliguri. Daily bus service is
available from Siliguri to Kalimpong. Shared jeeps are also available from
Siliguri to Kalimpong. Then hire a direct car or take another shared jeep to 20th
Mile, on Kalimpong – Pedong route.
Best Season to Visit
20th Mile
20th Mile can be visited throughout the year, but it is recommended
to avoid rainy season. In winter you will get spectacular view of surrounding,
summers are pleasant to beat the heat.
