You can
make a small trek to Kagey-Top, it’s a short 1 km up-hill trek, fabulous view
of Mt. Kanchenjunga and various birds can be seen from Kagey Top. Then take a
short trip to 300 years old church and monastery cum meditation center,
waterfalls (Mukti Falls 2 km). Also you can make a trip to Lava, Loleygaon, Rishyap
and nearby from Kagey.

Homestay
in Kagey is only mode of accommodation, local people has setup few homestay as ecological
manner for nature lover like you. Our associate homestay provides double and
four bedded rooms for spend your holiday with your loving family members. Currently
we are having total 5 rooms among them 3 four bedded rooms (two king size bed
in each rooms, can accommodate 12 PAX), rest are double bedded rooms (1 queen
bed in each rooms, can accommodate total 4 PAX). All rooms are cozy and
spacious with all basic facilities like attached western toilets and parking.
Every room provides spectacular view of surrounding and beautiful nature also
you can get magnificent view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from window with cup of tea on
a clear day. Tariff starting Rs.1000*/ per person per day basis with all meals
(breakfast to Dinner). Homestay owner also can arrange local sightseeing tour,
pick-up, drop (to from Kalimpong, Siliguri) and guided trekking to nearby areas.

How to Reach
Kagey Khasmahal
Nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB) and nearest railway
station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), direct car/taxi available from airport and
NJP. Total distance from NJP around 91 kms and it will take approx two and half
hrs to reach. Shared Jeep and buses are available from Siliguri to Kalimpong. Regular
buses are running between Kalimpong and Siliguri, fare around Rs.100 – Rs.120. after
reaching Kalimpong take another Car to Kagey or call your homestay owner for
pick-up.
Best Season to Visit
Kagey Khasmahal
Kagey can be visited throughout the year, except monsoon
to avoid land-slide. October to May is good time to visit Kagey.
