Loleygaon (লোলেগাঁও) is a hot tourist destination near Kalimpong and
a Himalayan Lepcha village located around 5,300 ft. above sea level. The entire village covered with dhupi and cypress forests,
fascinating Kanchenjunga view can be seen from different location of the
village. You can take a day trip to Eco – Park and the Canopy Walk (a 180 mt.
long wooden hanging bridge), main attraction of Loleygaon. You need to buy tickets
to enter the hanging bridge, cost around ₹.25/person. Only one way walk allowed
on hanging bridge, on return back by walking.

located just 0.5 km away from Buddha Temple, which is best point of interest at
Lolegaon, sun-set point is located just walking distance from homestay. Canopy
walk (main attraction of Loleygaon) or hanging bride located just 15 minutes
walking distance from our homestay/resort.
How to Reach

Nearest railway station
is New Jalpaiguri (NJP) distance around 125 KM via Teesta, another nearest
railway station is New Mal Bazar (NMZ). In both way aprox. H hours to reach to
Lolegaon. Direct car/taxis are available from station, Siliguri & Bagdogra
(nearest airport of Loleygaon).
Shared
transport or share jeep available from Gorubathan to Lava then hire a car to
Loleygaon from Lava. Keep in mind that road condition on this Lava-Loleygao-Ridhop
route is very bad, so big cars like Bolero, Sumo or Marshal must recommended.
