Chuikhim (চুইখিম) is a small village in Kalimpong District of
West Bengal located on the southern stretch of the Kalimpong hills. Chuikhim
village is situated at 3,500ft. above sea level. The village spreads across the
hills, a thin water stream of the river (Leesh Chu) flowing by the village. This
village is a small mountain village of 250 families with true nature and silence.

cannot be found on Google maps or school geography textbooks, the village has
suddenly raised interests among the travellers and tourists. It is a paradise
for bird watchers, number of Himalayan birds easily can be seen here. You can trek
in and around Chuikhim village and through the Chel forest. There are excellent
opportunities for bird watching. You also can visit Lolegaon (23 km) and
Samtahar (25km) from Chuikhim.

food. Breakfast is served as per your choice like Paratha, sandwich, butter
toast, bread puri sabji, momos, tukpa, tea etc.

Nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB) and nearest railway station
is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), direct car/taxi is available from airport and NJP. Chuikhim
village located around 51 kms from Siliguri through National Highway 31 and
take left turn at Bagrakote. It is located only 31 kms away from Mal Bazar.
