How to Reach Borong

Nearest airport is Bagdogra airport in west Bengal and nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri or NJP, distance from NJP to Borong 135 K.M. and from bagdogra 137 K.M. Book an exclusive car to Borong is best and simple mode of transportation. The journey time to Borong from Siliguri will take around 5hrs. to 6hrs. depends on road and climate condition and cost around Rs.4,000/.

          There is also shared transportations are available, take shared jeep to Namchi from Siliguri cost around Rs.200, then another jeep to Ravangla cost around Rs.100 and last take another jeep to Borong. Bus can be availed from Siliguri to Ravangla, then hire a car to Borong, because no shared jeep available in afternoon and evening.

Best Season to Visit Borong

February and March is good time to visit Borong, but Borong can be visited throughout the year, if you like green valleys with lush green vegetation then visit Borong in monsoon. February is festival month for this region.
