sq. Km and Entry Fee: Rs.5/- per head, Tinjurey-Alubari is 8 km; Golitar-Tinjurey
is 5 km. This sanctuary located on 7,000 ft. above sea level. You may visit
this location during day visit from and after Gangtok tour or sightseeing.
The highest place of this sanctuary is
Tinjure or Tinjurrey, a triangular hilltop is at 9019 ft. so many types of Orchid,
flowers unseen birds & butterflies are available always with you.
Also you need to trek around 2 K.M from nearest mottorable road to highest
point within forest.
You may get a chance to see Barking Deer,
Red Panda, Monal and Deer, Leopard-cat, Jungle cat, Marbled cat because this
area is open and free zone for them.

single staying option is wooden hut of Sikkim Forest Development Board, which
is situated in sanctuary with full of adventure and true nature. Also you need
to obtain stay permit and all foods including lunch, dinner snacks from Dewrali
Bazar only, still now there is no any arrangement for fooding except lodging.
How to Reach

Hire
a car from Gangtok for full trip to sanctuary and back, negotiate for price
depends on season, costing may vary in peak season. Also you can take shared
jeep from Dewrali Jeep stand but shared jeep option is few often.
Best Season to Visit
Fambong La
October to April is
ideal time to visit Fambong Lo; also you can visit throughout the year except
monsoon.
