          Bermiok is low height valley than other parts of Sikkim, so winter is so pleasant than other areas, you also can visit this place during chilly winter; don’t need to carry large number of winter clothes for all family members.

          At least spend minimum two days in Bermiok to explore all local destinations, Monasteries, Lepcha Heritage House, Rabindra Memorial forest, Manghim Temple, He-Khola water garden and Sirigjngha falls etc. Also anyone can cover this entire spot in a single day but it will be hectic to manage because you need to trek few K.M.s for Sirijangha Falls, this enjoyable walking under dense forest will be great feeling.

How to Reach Bermiok

Nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB) well connected with all major cities, daily flight available to Bagdogra from Kolkata, Delhi, Guwahati, and Kathmandu.

Nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), distance 140 K.M. well connected with all major cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad etc., car fare will be around Rs.3500/ to Rs.4000/ from Siliguri, NJP railway station and Bagdogra Airport.

Public transports, shared jeep also available to Jorthang from Siliguri SNT bus stand fare around Rs.150/ to Rs.200, then take another shared jeep from Jorthang for Dentam or Uttarey via Sorent, Kaluk and get down at Bermiok (fare around Rs.100/ to Rs.120). Rent a car for sightseeing, cost would be around Rs.1200 to Rs.1800, ask your hotel management for car rent. Bermiok to Pelling sitance is 35 K.M and car fare will be Rs.2000.

Best Season to Visit Bermiok
