Naggar is an ancient town and an offbeat travel destination near Kullu-Manali. The town Naggar is located at Kullu district and 25 km away/north from Kullu town, on left bank of river Beas. It was capital city of Kullu kingdom, elevation around 5900 ft. above sea level. The slopes of the mountains, the green trees, the apple orchards and the rugged river view are beautiful of this place.

          Naggar Castle is one of the top most visiting places in Naggar, a rustic, magnificent and vintage castle with lots of historic values. The castle is heaven for photographers, because of the wooden works, snowcapped mountains views and calm peaceful vibes. Naggar Castle entry fee is Rs.30/ (updated on 2019).

          Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery – an art gallery to witness heritage culture. A private house of Russian artist, painter, writer & philosopher Nicolas Roerich's, which latter converted into gallery with personal collections.

Nearest railway station is Kalka & Chandigarh, well connected with rest of the India. Nearest airport is Bhuntar at Kullu, which connects Delhi & Chandigarh with direct flights.

          Naggar is well connected through the buses from Manali, run by HPTDC. Theses buses runs to Naggar through Khaknal, share car also available on this route.
