Kewzing a
beautiful pictured Bhutia village in West Sikkim, India, distance 8 K.M from
Ravangla or Rabangla and 126 K.M from Bagdogra airport, situated at 4,600 ft.
above sea level, surrounded by Mount Narshing and Mount Kabru. Kewzing a hilly
village in lap of nature and Great Himalaya, this village is living place of 35
to 40 Bhutia families.
More
than half of total types birds are found in Sikkim are seen from Kewzing, this
is one of the best birding destinations in West Sikkim. The two main tourist
attraction of Kewzing is Rangit Water World and Maenam Wild Life Sanctuary. If
you are adventurist then you can go for river rafting at Rangit Water World,
also picnic and boating near Rangit Dam can be good option.
Ralong
Monastery, Tibetan Carpet Center and Roang Sunrise Point can be visited from
Kewzing, also Tashiding at South-Western, Mangbru and Pemiyanchi in West,
Ralong Monastery at South-East and Doling in east of Kewzing.

be reached from Ravangla and Gangtok, distance from gantok to Kewzing is 76
K.M, from Bagdogra 127 K.M. Distance from NJP (New Jalpaiguri Railway Station)
is 125 K.M.
Take prepaid car form airport or NJP
to Kewzing, or directly reach Ravangla from Siliguri (Gateway to Eastern
Himalaya) then take shared jeep to Kewzing (distance 8 K.M.), cost would be
around Rs.80/ to Rs.120.

avoid during monsoon, temperature goes down 4 degree Celsius to -17 degree
Celsius in winter (Dec- Feb), chances of rain is very less. In summer temperature goes between 1 degree
Celsius to 13 degree Celsius (March – Aug), most rainy time is June to Aug.
